Indonesia may not have a handsome vampire just like Edward Cullen, but our country also has a blood sucking creature. This creature is believed that she used to be pretty when she was alive. We called them kuntilanak. Kuntilanak is always a female. She’s famous for her specialization in terrorizing civilians.

When she appears, we can smell a certain flower fragrance. She will seduce a man and when that man fall for her, she’ll kill him after she turns herself to a vampire mode. Besides seducing man, a kuntilanak also likes to eats baby and hurt pregnant woman.

Another creature that can be misrecognized as kuntilanak is called sundelbolong. This two creature are look a like. They both using white gown and have a very long black hair. But, the difference is: if you look at the back of sundelbolong, she will has a hole on there. That’s why we called them ‘bolong’ which mean hole in Indonesian language.
